Why we built it

PaperShieldAi started as our own strategy tournament. Early on, we watched lucky strategies take the crown after a good week or two, then fall apart. So we added one rule: nothing gets crowned until it has proven itself live over a full proving period.

We kept going from there: an AI that writes strategies from plain English, a historical replay gate, a random generator that explores ideas nobody would think of, and an arena where every strategy sees the same bar at the same moment. Now that tournament is open to every trader.

I started trading in 2015 the way most people do, with penny stocks. Over the following years I moved into blue-chip stocks and ETFs, then stock options, then crypto and forex, and finally futures. More than a decade across those markets taught me to respect every one of them, and I've tried just about every strategy along the way.

The biggest lesson was simple: no strategy lasts forever. Markets change, and an edge that worked last year can quietly stop working this year. Chasing those changes with real money is an expensive way to keep up.

So I built PaperShieldAi. It shields my capital while AI does the heavy lifting, continuously building, testing and refining strategies against live market data, so I know which ones are profitable in today's market before a single dollar is at risk. Now I'm opening it up so other traders can do the same.
