Information we collect

Information you give us

• Waitlist and account details: your name, email address, account password (held in encrypted, hashed form by our sign-in provider, so no one at PaperShieldAi can see it), mobile number (if you provide it), the plan you're interested in and your text-message choice.
• Messages you send us through our contact form or by email.
• Strategies and settings you create in the Service.
• Broker and data connections: login tokens or API keys you choose to connect. We store these encrypted and use them only to run your tournaments and the trades you authorise.
• Billing details are handled by our payment processor. We don't store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device information such as pages visited, buttons clicked, how far you scroll, browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and referral codes in links you followed.
• Cookies and similar technologies used by our analytics providers, Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. Clarity may record page interactions such as clicks and scrolling. It doesn't capture what you type into forms.

How we use it

• to add you to the waitlist and contact you when your group opens;
• to provide, run, secure and improve the Service;
• to send service messages and, if you opted in, text messages;
• to understand which parts of the site work and where visitors leave, so we can improve it;
• to track referrals from share links;
• to meet legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

Text messages

If you opt in to texts, we use your number only to send the messages you agreed to. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

When we share information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run PaperShieldAi, such as our hosting provider, our account and sign-in provider (Supabase), our form delivery service (FormSubmit), our email and text-message providers, our payment processor and our analytics providers (Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics). They may use it only to provide their services to us.
• Brokers and data providers you connect, to the extent needed to carry out what you ask.
• Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety and the security of the Service.
• A buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged, subject to this policy.

Community posts

If you post in the members' community, your display name, posts, strategies and code you share are visible to other members. Don't include personal information you don't want others to see. You can delete your posts at any time.

How we protect it

We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage for broker credentials, access controls and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and turn on two-step login where offered.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details until you ask us to remove them or for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. If a free trial ends without a paid plan, we keep that trial's strategies, settings and results for 14 days in case you subscribe, then permanently delete them. We may keep your name and email to let you know about future offers, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We keep account data while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and security needs, then delete or anonymise it.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email, and stop texts by replying STOP.
• Ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing support@papershieldai.com.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work without them.
• Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights. We will honour them as the law requires and won't treat you differently for using them.

Children

PaperShieldAi is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we'll let you know by email or on the site before they take effect.
